General Hospital: Did Maxie risk her daughter for Johnny?

Image captured from GH YouTube Channel episode aired 2-13-15
Friday’s cliffhanger left us with Maxie telling Mr. enabler Spinelli how she helped Johnny and in the process made Nathan risk his job as a police officer by lying for her in a criminal investigation.

As a viewer I am so disappointed in Maxie that she does not have the brains GOD gave a goose to tell a criminal running from the law, get the hell out of my house, I can’t help you because in helping you I risk not being able to be with my baby.

I really don’t think she deserves to be with that baby.  She has already lost over a year with her daughter and she only paused one minute bringing up the whole visitation thing with Johnny when she turned around and said, I am going to take a shower and leave my purse, money and car keys there will I shower.

She actually thought that would clear her of any wrong doing.  She is still immature and I have to worry about the safety of her baby when with her because she does not have any idea of how to use good judgment and that could put her child at risk.

The only saving grace is Nathan because he does know the difference but is he going to have to spend his life protecting Georgie from her mother’s bad decisions?

Do you think Spinelli is still in love with Maxie and has he come back to Port Charles to build a family?  He seemed to like Nathan but does that mean that he won't try to win back the heart of his Maximista?
