General Hospital: What is GH thinking casting that baby?

Do the producers or the casting directors over at General Hospital think the audience/viewers are blind?  Let’s Get Soapy is going to ask the big question because well simply put, it needs to be asked. 

Why has General Hospital cast an adorable African American baby in the role of Leo?  Do they believe that the viewers would not notice that this little baby is very obviously not white? 

Were there no white newborns available when the casting call went out?  Wouldn’t it have been better to use Lisa’s real life baby until they could fill the role?

The casting of this baby leaves more questions than answers? 

Alexis, Leo and Julian

Does this casting somehow involve a future story line?  What were they thinking and why is nobody talking about it?  Are people so worried about being politically correct that they are afraid to mention that they cast an African American baby in a role where he has two white parents?
