This twisted story line has everyone wondering if Ashland really does love Victoria?  Could any conman be this cruel as to continue on with this con even after being caught.  Does he really want Victoria to give up everything and take off with him?  Why would this women even consider this? She didn't give Billy half this consideration.  

Is it love?

If this man is conning her, he is really do a great job of it. Will Victoria walk away from the Newman's, Billy and her children? She seems to live fine without Reed. She always did.  Do you want to see Victoria kick him to the curb or do you want her and Ashland to stay together and attempt the happily ever after? 

Young and Restless uses a hologram of Neil in farewell shows

Was the use of a hologram on Young and Restless spooky or wonderful to the viewers?

During Wednesday's episode of Young and Restless, the producers decided to use what can only be described as a hologram to show Neil.  In the scene Devon is crying and telling his father that he really still needs him. Did the viewers find this scene sweet or spooky? A little later in the scene, Devon sits on the steps of his home, the same home he found his father's dead body and sobs. The producers/directors decided to end the scene this way which was very well written and very emotional.

The use of a photo in a scene gives dramatic effect

At the very end of this scene, the camera starts on a close up to Devon sobbing on the steps and moves out so we see not only Devon but the picture of Neil on the bar counter.  It looks like they have added a back room to Devon's set so we can expect more scenes happening at this location.

How cute are these two??

The above heading does not mean that we think anybody is going to kill anybody in the triangle GH writers are creating. What we mean is that this brain cancer is deadly.  Oscar being depressed by losing Joss to Cameron could drastically reduce his chances for successful treatment.

Will Joss and Cameron fall in love while pretending?
Not only can this happen in the fictional land of Port Charles, it happened to me in real life. I asked a guy to pretend to be my boyfriend so I could make my ex-boyfriend jealous and I ended up falling in love and marrying the guy that pretended to be my boyfriend.  

Prediction
So here is the twist as predicted by Let's Get Soapy.  Joss and Cameron are going to realize real feelings for each other.  However, Joss is going to stay with Oscar during his cancer battle because it is the right thing to do.  Both Joss and Cameron's hearts will be breaking because they cannot be together.  Do you think that would be a great story line?

Will Wiley's health issues be the catalyst that will make the truth come out about Michael being Wiley's father? When Michael holds that baby in his arms, he feels a paternal pull toward him.

The baby they have found to play Wiley is absolutely adorable. The casting directors on GH are really good at finding the cutest babies for the show. 

Do the viewers think Michael should raise his son?

Do the viewers think that Michael should raise is own son or should Brad & Lucas be Wiley's parents? When Julian finds out that the baby has health problems, will he be the one to spill the beans that Wiley is not the original baby adopted by his son and Brad?

Tear jerking cliffhangers with Sonny & Mike

Was there anybody that walked away from General Hospital on Friday with tears flowing.  Maurice Bernard and Max Gail are acting their butts off on these scenes.  

MAX GAIL is fantastic

They are really capturing the pain of having a loved one who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease.  Sonny is really struggling with letting his father go one moment sooner than he has too.  Mike, on the other hand would rather go sooner than be a burden and cause anymore trouble or bad memories for his son.  

Both actors are doing some of the best work of their lives with this story line.  Let's Get Soapy definitely sees some Emmy nominations in their near future.

So Lily now knows she ran the red light which caused the death of Hillary and her unborn child.  Are the fans feeling sorry for her?  How do you face your life when you know you caused this unimaginable pain for your brother?

Cane is unbelievably selfish

What makes Cane think that his wife and his children are any more precious than Hillary and her baby.  Devon has lost his wife and child.  His brand new family is dead.  How do you handle that?

Most people believe that Lily should have laid low after Hillary's funeral.  Why would you make your grieving brother look at you right away?  It just seems so cruel.  

Should Lily have volunteered to turn herself in? 

What Lily did was call involuntary manslaughter but it is a crime.  They keep calling it an accident but she was behind the wheel of the car and she should have been paying attention.  It is as bad as getting in a car after you have been drinking and killing someone.

Is Chad the father or is Stefan?  If Stefan is the father, will Chad stay with Abigail?  You know that Stefan is not just going to walk away from his baby.

Will Gabi swoop in and steal Stefan's heart?  Or will Gabi plan on taking back Chad, the love of her life?

Do the viewers think that the birth of a baby can say a marriage? Would Liam have gone home if Hope had not told him that he should?

Is there anybody that thinks that Bill is going to let Steffie go?  Where is Bill the last couple of days. Steffie threatened to call the police and then slammed the door behind him and fell.  Why has nobody told him that the baby was born? Oh, is it because anybody that might have told him has been kicked out of his life?

Do the viewers think that a baby can save a marriage?

Why have we seen so little of Victor Kiriakis and does it have to do with John Aniston's health?

The character of Victor Kiriakis hasn't been around Days much lately.  John Aniston is getting on in years so a slow down is always expected. On today's show he was sitting on the couch and had a very obvious swelling on one side of his belly.  Speculation says it may be some kind of medical apparatus.  

Also, in the last 4 months, whenever John Aniston is on set, he is shown sitting down.

We know the writers have everyone beleiving that Jason is a good guy but people, he has supposedly killed people on Sonny's orders.  That makes him a killer, a criminal and not somebody that should be raising kids.  Quite frankly, how dare he talk to Franco about anything Franco has done in the past when he had a brain tumor.  

Maybe the brain damage allows him to live this way?
Faison kidnapped Drew because he couldn't use Jason because Jason was brain damaged.  Will it be discovered that Jason only lives the life he lives because of that brain damage?  After all Alan had wanted his son to be a doctor and Jason wanted to be a doctor before the horrible accident caused by AJ that damaged his brain.

The last week had Y&R dropping several bombshells and they continue to deal with some real life issues.  Let's start with couples in crisis or couples coupling once again.  Let's start with:

SHARON & NICK

Nick and Sharon together again!

Sharon and Nick have found their way back to one another again. Is Sharon better equipped this time to deal with the Newman's because when you are with Nick, you get his whole family?  Let's Get Soapy is happy to see these soulmates back together. Let's face it, they are never really happy with anyone else. 

VICTORIA AND JT

JT strangles Victoria and then proposes to her

The writers are taking on the issue of domestic violence and they are doing it with real life married couple Thad Luckinbill and Amelia Heinle.  This couple must have discussed this in a big way before agreeing to do this.  

Domestic violence is filled with anger, passion and confusion.  It takes a lot of energy to do these scenes.  They must have decided the cost was worth it in bringing the issue of domestic violence to the viewers.  

Who is Jack's Daddy?

DINA HAS ANOTHER PATERNITY SECRET!!

That whole clause in the Jabot paperwork will come back to haunt Jack when it turns out that Tracy and Billy are John Abbott's only children.  How much do you want to bet that Victor and Dina slept together when Dina was a hot young housewife?  How much do you want to bet that Jackie is Victor's son?  Also, how much do you want to bet that Jack gets accused of hurting Victor?  

Would EJ returning to Salem be a good thing for his brothers Stefan & Chad?

How many fans would like to see the return of EJ?

DiMera's seem to be coming and going from Salem but is it time for EJ to return and take over the family business?  Is EJ the oldest living DiMera, son of Stefano?

Both Chad and Stefan are living in the DiMera mansion being in love with the same women. Ironically, EJ also had an affair with Abigail.  Wouldn't it just rock all their worlds if EJ came back? 

When Sammy left Salem, she had just gotten a phone call. We also know that Kristen DiMera was talking to herself about EJ being alive.  We know when EJ was in the morgue, Kristen showed up and stuck a needle in her brother. 

That has left the door wide open for EJ to return.  The only question here is will James Scott return as EJ or will they recast that character?  Would Days viewers accept an EJ replacement?  James was always a fan favorite but has his long absence been enough for fans of the show to accept a new comer in this role? 

Let us know how you feel about the possibility of EJ returning and should Sami (Alison Sweeney) come back with him?  

Is Henrich Anna & Faison's son or is it someone else?

ANNA & FAISON HAVE A CHILD 

Is the reason Anna is being so protective of Heinrich because he may be her son?  Was this child conceived in 1990? Or could it be that this child was conceived back in the late 1970's when Anna was working as a double agent with Faison as her partner?  Anna has such a dark treasonous past.  

At one time, for a short period of time, Anna, Faison and Robin were a family.
As things come full circle in Anna's life, will Robin discover she has more siblings than she ever imagined? Does Robert have some long lost kids that might surface in the near future as well?  Below are some clips from episodes in the 1990's where the fact that Anna and Faison already knew each other for 13 years comes to light.  It seems that Faison actually knew Anna was she was still a girl.  

Do General Hospital viewers have any idea of just how many times Faison has come in and out of Anna's life?

In fact, Anna and Faison were partners in the DVX.  Anna was a double agent. Her time with Faison and her time with Valentine cross over and coincide.  

Anna had left Robin with other people to raise when she was a baby.  Now it would seem Anna did that more than once, hell, she may have even done it 3 times.  The General Hospital writers can have a blast with this one.  

Do the viewers believe that Henrich is Anna and Ceasar Faison's son?

Sami hinted at it when she told Rafe that she had to get back to the kids for Christmas.  Sami is leaving Salem and Days of our Lives again but not before we have some emotional goodbyes.  Will finally gives her his forgiveness although some might feel it is not 100% genuine, he is trying. 

What happened to Hope's engagement ring?

Rafe and Hope are getting back together but where is Hope's engagement ring?  We all have to know it is going to turn up in Sami's hotel room.  Speaking of hotel rooms, how come half of Salem lives in expensive hotels?  

Let's do the math a minute.  A hotel like that cost approximately $150.00 a night.  Let's even discount that to $100.00 a night.  That would mean that it would cost a resident of Salem like Paul or Adrienne or Lucas $3,000 a month to stay in the hotel for a 30 day month.  HOW CRAZY is that?  Sorry to burst that bubble Days fans but who could ever afford that?

How far is JJ going to go before someone reaches out to catch him before he falls of the face of the earth? 

EVE AND LUCAS SHOULD GET TOGETHER

That is a suggestion not a prediction or spoiler.  They both could really use some help and some company.  Maggie could keep a closer eye on Lucas having him in the mansion and Eve could surely use a shoulder or someone who isn't constantly trying to get her locked up to hang out with .

What is up with Ciara?  She came back a raging witch.  Claire is not the end all and be all of all her problems.  How much trouble is she going to cause for the dysfunctional people of Salem?

Halloween week on Days of our Lives 

The Widow Eve

Days of our Lives bring extreme tricks and treats.  So we know Hope gave Sami an address.  Sami, John, Marlena, Sonny and Paul travel to Memphis together.  It looks like they have entered Eric's farm house set, however this house is supposed to be a Halloween decorated house in Memphis, TN.  Does this mean the gang will run into Halloween Elvis?  Is the King alive and well in Memphis?

Lucas is not done imagining Will.  He shows up at the police station wasted.  Shouldn't the Chief of Police hold in for public intoxication?

Eve shows up at Deimos's grave of Deimos.  If the viewers can think back about a year ago, Eve and Deimos got along quite well.  Could that have cause an alliance between Eve and Deimos when nobody was watching?  Could Eve be the widow of Deimos?  Does this cause Brady to go deeper into the darkness?  Does Eve start to wonder if her daughter is alive?  

Tripp is crushing on Claire 
Tripps feelings for Claire just seem to be getting stronger and stronger. Will this cause him to act out? Is Tripp mentally disturbed just like his mother?

Adrienne, Lucas and Justin head down to Memphis as well as they want to know about Will.  Everyone wants to know if Will is dead or alive. Next week will prove to be a lot of fun and a bit insane on Days of our Lives.

Is there anybody watching that thinks that Brady is okay?  Look, when Theresa left, Brady rebounded into Nicole's bed faster than most people change their underwear.  After Daniel died, Nicole and Brady were drawn together because of Daniel's heart.  However, Nicole didn't act on it as she respected the family Brady and Theresa were making together with Tate.

In fact, Theresa went away to keep Brady and Tate safe because she loves them so much.  Let's Get Soapy is thrilled the writers left that story line open so Theresa could return and claim her family. It looks like Brady is going to need Theresa to come back to save his life.  He is living in a very dark place right now.  

Nicole & Eric

These two go back a very long time.  Now we are finding out that Eric became a Priest to try and forget about Nicole. When they worked together in the Church, Eric was falling back in love with her.  When Zander locked them in the crawl space in the boiler room, they both admitted they had feelings for one another. In fact, Eric was drinking that night because he couldn't stand the thought of living without Nicole.  

Nicole was in love with Daniel but she never stopped having feelings for Eric. When Eric caused the accident that killed Daniel, Nicole didn't know what to do with her feelings for Eric so they turned to hate.  

Are the viewers okay with what Brady is doing to keep Nicole and Eric apart?  What do the viewers want to see happen here?

Is it too late?

Chandler Massey and Bryan Dattilo

The ghost of or imagination of a drunken Lucas brings Will back to help him.  How great was it to see Will again?  Just a personal observation, the actor Chandler Massey has grown into a fine young man.  Let's Get Soapy noticed that he now towers over his soap Dad Bryan Dattilo.

Speaking of Bryan Dattilo, today's performance by Bryan was Emmy worthy.  LGS really hopes he submits this reel for Emmy consideration.  That was some of his best work ever.  Just goes to show that as an actor you can continue to grow through the years.  

Did Will get through to him?

Back to today's episode, did Will get through to his Dad?  We all know that Lucas passed out or hit his head on the church bench and was knocked out. It is not really clear which it was and either explanation is plausible with the amount of liquor Lucas was consuming. 

Does Sammy have to come back to Salem because Lucas needs to see his daughter?  Will Sammy help bring Lucas back? 

Let's Get Soapy gives both Chandler Massey and Bryan Dattilo 5 stars for extremely great acting today.  5 star tear jerking work all the way around.  

Characters that never got a Proper Goodbye from Young and Restless the last 6 months

Look, we all know that characters come and go but we wanted to take a minute to honor the memory of these characters/actors that didn't get a proper goodbye from Young & Restless in the past 6 months.  

Stitch and his son Max

GOODBYE STITCH

Let's start with Stitch who had a good run for 2 years of front burner story lines, especially when he had married Victor Newman's daughter Abby.  He was the doctor that saved many a life, his son Max turned fetus slayer also did not get a proper send off.  That can only mean that Stitch and or Max will return in the future to wreak havoc in Genoa City.

Geek girl Natalie was there and then just gone girl

GOOD BYE NATALIE

How about gone geek girl Natalie who was front and center for about 6 months until look alike Chloe came back into the picture and pushed the character of Natalie not only to back burner position but right off the stove.  Now the character of Chloe and Kevin and Bella are all gone.  Wow, just wow.  

The younger Maddie & Charlie

GOOD BYE MADDIE AND CHARLIE

The younger Maddie & Charlie went poof and transformed into teenagers over night.  There speed aging made heads not just turn but twist around like a scene from The Exorcist.  Farewell sweet Maddie & Charlie, viewers are still getting used to your teenage counterparts and acceptance is going ever so slowly. Speaking of aging characters, Maddie and Charlie are now 16 but Faith remains what??? Maybe 10 years old now?  Let's Get Soapy will never understand how the writers or producers think this is okay with viewers but it is their game, we are just sitting in the stands watching the scoreboard.

What about little Connor, the kid that looks like the OLD ADAM had spit him out of his mouth.  What happened to little Connor?  We have not seen that kid/character in months?  We may as well throw Christian into the mix.  That little guy has also disappeared off the landscape, even as Nick moves into Chelsea's.  We see no interaction between the boys, no nothing.  That can only mean that the writers are getting ready to age these boys by about 5 to 10 years.  Be looking for that during the holidays this year.
