General Hospital Reveals that Luke has D.I.D.

Image captured from GH YT episode aired 2-18-15
LGS is so happy to report that General Hospital has finally revealed that Luke has D.I.D.  D.I.D, is disassociated identity disorder.  This occurs when something traumatic happens in one’s life to make them want to leave their own body so emotionally they do.  When they leave a stronger personality within themselves takes over and handles the situation.

When Luke was locked up in the mental hospital, he probably disassociated to handle the situation.
Today when Bobbie went to the jail to talk to him, she hit home with some of the things she said to him and he caused the real Luke to immerge.  When the main personality comes back, they very rarely know what the alter was doing.

This subject has been covered on One Life to Live for years with Victoria Lord whose father molested her and when that would happen, she would disassociate.  Erica Slazek was excellent at portraying the different characters.
Anthony Geary did a great job today.  We are going to discover that the Fluke we have seen since Thanksgiving, the one that Alexis and Julian brought home was a different personality than the Fluke that was there before who was hitting on Kiki.  Those were very different personalities.  The last Fluke was the polar opposite of the real Fluke, evil to the core.

It would be fun to see him bounce between several different personalities and I am hoping the writers let us see that while they have him in
therapy.
They need to merge the personalities because the Luke that we saw today is weak, frail and afraid of everything.  That is not the real Luke either as the viewers will come to discover in the weeks to come.

We would love to hear what the viewers are thinking about all of this right about now?

  1. DID still doesn't explain how he acquired Barrett Enterprises (and with what money) and how he found Julian Jerome close to 15 years ago. Julian came to town answering to his boss that looks just like Luke, but Luke was also recovering from the poisoning so exactly when was he giving Julian orders?
