General Hospital – Has Nicholas gone to the dark side

So during yesterdays episode when Nicholas was talking to Samantha after she flew all the way to Boston to support him in his time of need and she point blankly asked him IF he knew the true identity of Jake Doe, all I kept thinking was, “tell her Nicholas, tell her.” 

The fact that he didn’t has me wondering if he has gone over to the dark side either because of something Helena has done to him or maybe he has always had it in him.

Why should taking over ELQ be so important to him?  He has more money than he will ever need.

Why is he treating his cousin like this?  Can’t he just give her some kind of hint and let her follow up on it?  Now, how can he admit to knowing this was Jason after all this time, even if he tells her his grandmother just told him, and then Spencer’s birthday fire injury happened, it has been several days since then and Spencer is now stable, it would be hard to explain why he didn’t pick up the phone.

How many people want to see Nicholas go over to the dark side or how many people want to see him stay loving and kind?  

By the way, where was great grandmother Leslie who used to take care of Spencer for years and where was his grandmother Laura during all of this.

Writers, Grandmothers come home to help at times like these.  You could have found a sub for Laura if she didn’t want to come back for a few weeks
