General Hospital funny moments from last Friday

Friday’s General Hospital was chocked full of one liners and physical comedy.  The funniest scenes were with Franco portrayed by Roger Howarth.  Howarth is one of “Let’s Get Soapy’s,” favorite actors as he delivers one liners like nobody else. His timing is perfect and he brings some levity to what would be totally 100% of the time, non-humorous moments.

On Friday’s show, Howarth’s character Franco broke into the police detective Nathan West’s room over Kelly’s while he and his show love interest Maxie Jones was sleeping.  He sat there whistling and filing and fingernails until they woke up. 

One great line and delivery was when he said to Nathan (an almost always topless actor) who jumped out of bed in just his undies, “Mr. Finally wearing some pants.”

The one liners and funny facial expressions like only Roger can do continued on through this scene and into the next scene when he ran into his love interest Nina Clay who just married Ric Lansing for no apparent reason.  Franco suspects that Ric married Nina for her fortune for which he will now help her regain control of from the probate courts.  He and Nina bantered in the restaurant for a bit, their scenes are always phenomenal.

Speaking of Nina, during Friday’s show, Nina was having a meal with her new husband and she discovered that he was aware she had lots of money.  She is now suspicious of him and when he went to kiss her goodbye, he kissed her eye.  The way she batted her eye and pulled at her eye lashes was hilarious.

The humor didn’t stop there.  The new character of Denise was waiting in the police station for her DNA results and stopped them by being read because she thought they should wait for the lady with the mustache.  Alexis walks in and says, I guess she is referring to me.  Pretty funny stuff. 

Prince Nik was pretty funny when he said to his sister Lulu, it’s not like you have crossed over to the dark side as we all know he now has. 

At that end of the show Maxie picks up her nail file and asks Nathan if Franco was using her nail file.  That was totally adorable.
