General Hospital wins the award for soap with the most characters. How are the writers going to tie all these story-lines together or will they even bother? Somebody needs to tell the writers, sometimes less is more and right now, General Hospital needs to wrap up a few story-lines before running off in several different directions.
Some common questions being asked by viewers: Why is Mac & Felicia taking Emma home when her Grandmother should be doing it, she isn't doing anything else after all.
Who is taking care of Danny while Sam & Jake/Jason are running around in black clothing trying to find out where Nikolas is hiding out? Yes, we know Danny is at the Quartermaine mansion but who is taking care of him at the mansion since Monica is busy at the hospital suspending Fynn. Speaking of Fynn, how many different places are they going to hook him into?? He is working with Carly on the Joss kidney mystery, he is now hanging with Hayden and he is also in the middle of the angel of death mystery at GH.
We've got the Anna/Jordan/Dr. Shrink triangle. We have Franco going after Elizabeth and can we ask what happened to Nina?
We have Maxi leaving Nathan and Nathan's ex-wife is soon to join the cast. We have Laura hooking up with DOC/Kevin and with Kevin comes Lucy but now that the nurses ball is over, does that mean Lucy will not be seen until next spring? The nonsensical story-lines continue without resolution, rhyme or reason. It is complication and complex. Is this some of General Hospitals best story-lines ever or the worse. What do you viewers think?

It's an epic fail...EPIC FAIL...Too many newbies and to many inconsistent stories. I don't have a problem with new characters but we have so many now and none of them are fleshed out enough to care about. Valerie has been on for over a year and we still don't know a thing about her, other than she took care of her mother. Curtis is being fleshed out but pairing him with another newbie makes no since. Hayden is just confusing, is she the complete bit&h or is she just misunderstood. Jason got his memory back and we have had only a few scenes of him with CarSon who were like family to him. One week they are trying to find out where Joss got her kidney and then it's dropped for a week or two. We still have no clue why Nik has turned into a complete jackass, I was glad Dante and LuLu found their way back but I hated that Lulu did all the heavy lifting. I am sick of Franco floating around, he needs a real story, and not one that involves Liz who by the way needs to find out what happened to her zombie child on that island. I mean is it too much to ask for some consistent storytelling ??
ReplyDeleteLaura should be on alot more then everty 2 weeks for 10 minutes as Genie is the queen of General Hospital and is never treated like it! She's thrown some crumbs every once in a while yet they keep bringing more and more new characters to the show and are giving some characters so much air time (Carly,Sonny,Sam,Jason,Alexis) that it's just insulting and wrong. I'm sick of seeing these same people literally every day. If the show can't give the proper storylines and time to each character then alot of fans won't continue watching the show!
