Victor is SHOT by IAN

Today was the best episode of Young and Restless in a long time but while it was filled with some shocking moments, it was also filled with some funny and unbelievable happenings.  Sit back with Let's Get Soapy and lets review some of the things that happened on The Young and Restless today.

Mariah is injured by her own mother!!

Mariah  confronts Sharon about not taking her medication.  That confrontation ends in Sharon seeing Sage and attempting to strike sage on the head but instead clocking her daughter straight on the forehead with an innocent OWL book holder rendering her unconscious.  Kevin comes in and find Mariah on the floor bleeding from the head with Sharon standing over her yelling at an invisible Sage. 

Victor takes the stand and makes the doctor look like a fool and proclaims his love for Adam and the fact that he thinks Adam is innocent shocking the family and most especially shocking the doctor as she finally realizes that Victor is a liar.  As he exits the courtroom he sees that Nikki is being held by Ian Ward at gunpoint.  He wrestles with the guard so the guard doesn't shoot at Ian & Nikki and Ian shoots Victor.  Victor will now be deemed the hero in all of this and have his family back wrapped around his little finger.  

The funniest line of the day was Paul saying to Nikki in a courthouse conversation.  Do you think that Victor would lie to serve his own purposes?  Nikki my knees are actually weak right now. 

Do the viewers think that Victors act of heroism will get him a get out of jail free card?
