General Hospital: Little Miss AJ Quartermaine

I can hear the viewers screaming all the way around the country today.  Some are cheering for Michael and some are screaming at Michael.  I am not going to say which way I went as I should remained impartial in my blogging.  What I will say is that Michael should never ever think that Sonny won’t take him out or order a hit on him as although Sonny has proclaimed for years that Michael is his son in every way that mattered, the truth is that Michael is NOT his blood and Avery is and Michael has just stolen his child.

This is something that Sonny can’t and won’t forgive or let go.  Carly already sees it and sees that a war is brewing between Michael and Sonny.  That is going to put a real crimp in her bedtime activities as she has to choose between her son or her on and off again husband the last 20 some odd years of her life. You can tell they did a twin switch during this scene if you look closely.  One twin has more hair than the other twin.

That was one heck of a sharp knife that Michael stuck in Sonny’s back as he proclaimed that he was going to rename Avery AJ.  He may even get the court to allow a name change for that baby if he can convince the court that removing the name Corinthos will help secure her safety.  Normally, even if a child has been removed from a natural parent, unless there is a formal adoption, the child would retain their given name. There may be special circumstances in this instance to warrant such a name change and a judge can certainly order it and make it happen without Sonny having to relinquish his parental rights.

Had Morgan run with Avery that certainly would have made a stronger case for Michael getting permanent custody of Avery and maybe even stripped Sonny of his parental rights?  I think Sonny will try and kidnap her somewhere down a not so distance road.
