Young and Restless Sage and Confusion

Image captured from Y&R episode aired 5-19-15
How do you like that Newman Abbott Logo?

LGS really wanted to write this piece on Sage and the state of confusion Y&R is in right now.  It almost seems like story-lines are colliding.  Did Victor’s flunky at Jabot have a role on this show before Pratt became head writer?  Why are we being led to believe that Tobias has something to do with the murders?  Is he somehow related or connected to Yack/Marco?

It is time that people really took a look at Sage.  What do we know about her?  She supposedly was adopted as a teen by Constance and lived in that mansion taking care of the old woman. The viewer has been led to believe that Sage was in love with the real Gabriel.  Does someone in love watch the love of their life die while trying to save another human being and then use that person who was saved to hold onto some inheritance?  True, Sage also says she had Adam turned into Gabriel because Constance would not have been able to cope with the death of her grandson.  Well on her dying bed, she knew that Adam was not Gabriel.
Okay, so this example of pure virtue and truth that Nick is putting high above everyone else had plastic surgery done to a near fatally injured man to make him look like another man.  Adam has no say so at that time.  He was unconscious and unable to make decisions for himself.

Then she taught him everything there was to know about the real Gabriel to keep the farce going.  She married Gabe so he could keep his inheritance and nobody knows if Gabe actually loved her or not.  All the newspapers reported that Gabriel Bingham was a real playboy and that is why Constance had the clause put in her Will that he had to stay married at least 3 years.

Okay, so we have the cover up of the DEATH of Gabriel Bingham.  The master-mining of Adam impersonating Gabriel was her idea all the way.  She helped Nick in the woods but then left him before the paramedics got there yet Nick considered her a hero.

She has interfered in Nicks life continuously having sex with him whenever and wherever she could all the while knowing that Gabriel/Adam is Nicks brother.

Then she has sex with both the brothers and now she claims she is pregnant and she is totally trying to pass the baby off as Nicks when it very well could be Adams.

On top of that, she is casting suspicious and doubt about Sharon to Nick when Sharon has done nothing to hurt her ever.  LGS thinks that if Sage was smart, she would stand away from the edge of staircases and sharp objects when Faith is around.  Sharon is the least of her problems.

Some people think that Sage is the teenage girl that broke her neck while hanging out swimming with Nick.  Knowing Pratt, it could go that way but we can’t be sure that Sage is here for the long haul.

The character of Sage Warner was created by ex-Y&R writer Jean Passante and Shelly Altman.  It is very possible for Sage who is being portrayed by Kelly Sullivan to totally go stark mad on this show.  The actress played a D.I.D. victim on General Hospital and did a very good job at it.  She is totally able to turn into another person at the blink of an eye.

The way she is acting helpless and afraid of Sharon is so ridiculous when it has been established that she is not a weak woman.

What will Nick do when he finds out that Sage knew all along that Gabriel was not only Adam but she helped him and in fact, possibly even masterminded the entire farce.  On top of that, she may NOT be pregnant with his baby.

If LGS was asked to make a prediction about the paternity of the baby, LGS would say the baby is Adams because Nick is going to find out what it feels like to lose to Adam and really lose a child that he thought was his.
