This twisted story line has everyone wondering if Ashland really does love Victoria? Could any conman be this cruel as to continue on with this con even after being caught. Does he really want Victoria to give up everything and take off with him? Why would this women even consider this? She didn't give Billy half this consideration.

If this man is conning her, he is really do a great job of it. Will Victoria walk away from the Newman's, Billy and her children? She seems to live fine without Reed. She always did. Do you want to see Victoria kick him to the curb or do you want her and Ashland to stay together and attempt the happily ever after?

Hillary gets the last laugh
So Lily now knows she ran the red light which caused the death of Hillary and her unborn child. Are the fans feeling sorry for her? How do you face your life when you know you caused this unimaginable pain for your brother? Cane is unbelievably selfish What makes Cane think that his wife and his children are any more precious than Hillary and her baby. Devon has lost his wife and child. His brand new family is dead. How do you handle that? What is up with that WEIRD FISH PAINTING?

Some has to say it.....What is up with that weird fish painting and has it always been there? Should Lilly have gone to back to work so soon? Most people believe that Lily should have laid low after Hillary's funeral. Why would you make your grieving brother look at you right away? It just seems so cruel. Should Lily have volunteered to turn herself in? What Lily did was call involuntary manslaughter but it is a crime. They keep calling it an accident but she was behind the wheel of the car and she should have been paying attention. It is as bad as getting in a car after you have been drinking and killing someone. Here's a little about Christal Khalil who portrays Lily Christal was born in Los Angeles to an African American, Native American and European mother. Her father is 100% Pakistani. No wonder she is so unique looking. She considers herself mixed raced.
What fabulous cliffhangers Young and Restless dropped on Friday The last week had Y&R dropping several bombshells and they continue to deal with some real life issues. Let's start with couples in crisis or couples coupling once again. Let's start with: SHARON & NICK

Sharon and Nick have found their way back to one another again. Is Sharon better equipped this time to deal with the Newman's because when you are with Nick, you get his whole family? JT strangles Victoria and then proposes to her
The writers are taking on the issue of domestic violence and they are doing it with real life married couple Thad Luckinbill and Amelia Heinle. This couple must have discussed this in a big way before agreeing to do this.
Domestic violence is filled with anger, passion and confusion. It takes a lot of energy to do these scenes. They must have decided the cost was worth it in bringing the issue of domestic violence to the viewers. Who is Jack's Daddy?
DINA HAS ANOTHER PATERNITY SECRET!!
That whole clause in the Jabot paperwork will come back to haunt Jack when it turns out that Tracy and Billy are John Abbott's only children. How much do you want to bet that Victor and Dina slept together when Dina was a hot young housewife? How much do you want to bet that Jackie is Victor's son? Also, how much do you want to bet that Jack gets accused of hurting Victor?
Look, we all know that characters come and go but we wanted to take a minute to honor the memory of these characters/actors that didn't get a proper goodbye from Young & Restless in the past 6 months. Stitch and his son Max
GOODBYE STITCH
Let's start with Stitch who had a good run for 2 years of front burner story lines, especially when he had married Victor Newman's daughter Abby. He was the doctor that saved many a life, his son Max turned fetus slayer also did not get a proper send off. That can only mean that Stitch and or Max will return in the future to wreak havoc in Genoa City.
Geek girl Natalie was there and then just gone girl
GOOD BYE NATALIE
How about gone geek girl Natalie who was front and center for about 6 months until look alike Chloe came back into the picture and pushed the character of Natalie not only to back burner position but right off the stove. Now the character of Chloe and Kevin and Bella are all gone. Wow, just wow. The younger Maddie & Charlie
GOOD BYE MADDIE AND CHARLIE
The younger Maddie & Charlie went poof and transformed into teenagers over night. There speed aging made heads not just turn but twist around like a scene from The Exorcist. Farewell sweet Maddie & Charlie, viewers are still getting used to your teenage counterparts and acceptance is going ever so slowly. Speaking of aging characters, Maddie and Charlie are now 16 but Faith remains what??? Maybe 10 years old now? Let's Get Soapy will never understand how the writers or producers think this is okay with viewers but it is their game, we are just sitting in the stands watching the scoreboard. Adam's son Connor
GOOD BYE CONNOR
What about little Connor, the kid that looks like the OLD ADAM had spit him out of his mouth. What happened to little Connor? We have not seen that kid/character in months? We may as well throw Christian into the mix. That little guy has also disappeared off the landscape, even as Nick moves into Chelsea's. We see no interaction between the boys, no nothing. That can only mean that the writers are getting ready to age these boys by about 5 to 10 years. Be looking for that during the holidays this year. We at Let's Get Soapy would like to say farewell to the characters and or actors that never got the proper send off from the soap. Bye bye.
Did Hillary sabotage Mariah on the Young and Restless

This past week of The Young and the Restless Devon asked Mariah to be the temporary host of GC Buzz because Hillary is out of control. During the segment of Chelsea 2.0 Mariah attempted to model an outfit from the new spring clothing line. In front of the camera, Mariah took a fall flat on her face. You can clearly see the heel from Mariah's shoe has detached from the shoe itself.
Mariah is left stunned and shaken after the fall
Sharon had seen Hillary holding those same shoes just shortly before Mariah put them on. Did Hillary loosen the heel hoping that it would cause Mariah to fall and look foolish? Would Hillary actually risk somebody else's health to get what she wants? How long will it be before Sharon or Mariah realize that it was Hillary that caused the fall? Mariah and Devon are getting closer. Will they end up having an affair when all is said and done? Listen to this beautiful song from Little River Band. "Mary's Christmas"
What if Kelly was not dead? Why is it that we should believe that Kelly is dead? She could have been pretending to be dead and or she could have just been injured. What if she is not dead and comes back with Jack Jr.? Wouldn't that really throw a wrench in Phyllis trying to get Jack back? Would Jack be willing to give Kelly, a women who loved him unconditionally another chance, especially if she brought back his son or daughter?

How great would it be for Stitch to have his sister and a nephew come back to town when he just lost his wife and his son is in rehab? What do you the viewer think about this WHAT IF? Check out Little River Band's "Forever You, Forever Me," which could tell the story of Jack & Phyllis or the story of Kelly & Jack. Heck, it could even tell the story of Stitch and Abby.

Young and Restless Billy meets Bella on the 3rd Anniversary of Delia's death. He is immediately taken with the little girl and remembers the conversation he had with Chloe when she asked him to make another baby with her. Is it possible that Billy is suspicious of where Bella came from and how she came to be?

Will Billy and Chloe become a couple because they have this new miracle to love? How could Chloe not feel totally guilty keeping Billy away from his child when she sees he is hurting so badly? Is she just down right evil or is she still mentally disturbed?
Quinn is cut out of her husbands life by his family
Seriously, are the viewers okay with the way Ridge is treating Quinn? How about Ridge and his charming daughter getting the lawyer to pretend that the Power of Attorney that Eric signed over to Quinn doesn't exist? Carter must be pretty sure that Eric is going to die or be a non-commutative vegetable to go along with this because as soon as Eric recovers, he is going to be so upset that it may cause him to have another stroke.

Why didn't Eric sign that marriage license? How are the viewers feeling about the way that the family is treating Quinn and how about her son throwing her under the bus today?

As Vincent speaks of irony in his tribute to Pine Valley and Agnes Nixon, a 7th sense must have been telling him that the woman he adored, fought to get recognized via the Kennedy Honors would pass away just 5 short days later. Interesting coincidence. Ended up in Glendale today; a part of town I rarely, rarely visit. Today happens to mark the 5 year anniversary of the final episode airing of ABC's 40+ yr run of All My Children... Personally, what makes this even more relevant during my weekending exhale is the fact that the last scenes we shot and produced of AMC ABC were at the studio we relocated to here in LA from NYC after 40 yrs of production, just 8 minutes away from where I'm typing this post, so enjoying my New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, at a place I would visit back then, but haven't since I worked on the show those 5 years back. Not once. Coincidence? Hmmmm... Perhaps the restless spirit of Dr DH led me here to reminisce, reflect on this day's significance... Thank you, dear, dear Agnes Nixon, and all I had the privilege of working alongside throughout those magical years. Thank you, even more, all of you who had invited us into your homes, year after glorious year, graciously weaving us into the fabric of your everyday lives. To you I send my greetings from our dear, eternal "Pine Valley." I raise a glass to you all...

Vincent Irizzary is now on Days of our Lives. Michael E. Knight was recently on Young and Restless as Dr. Simon Neville and Rebecca Buddig is currently on General Hospital portraying Hayden Barnes. Walt Willy expressed his condolences on his Facebook page. Also pictured is Lee Meriwether who portrayed the role of Ruth Martin after Mary Fickett was too ill to continue. Mary Fickett subsequently passed away on September 12, 2011. Ray McDonnell and Lee Meriwether are still alive. Also pictured is Cameron Mathison with his on screen daughter. He is currently a host on Entertainment tonight. Last but not least is Jill Larson who played the 2nd Opal Courtland, Michael E. Knights birth-mother on All My Children.
The cast of 'All My Children' and 'One Life To Live' always had a special relationship with Agnes. She was truly their other mother when they worked on her shows. They were really all her children and that is how she always treated each and everyone of them.
On today's episode Phyllis was trying to get Jack to listen to her. He was drinking (was that water or vodka or gin) and throwing her out. He was walking upstairs to pack her bags to throw her and her belongings out. She grabbed his arm and he pushed back on his own arm thereby pushing her down the steps.
Was this an accident or something more?
Is this physical abuse? Is this Domestic Violence? Do you think this is something that happens in households across America everyday? Was this just an accident?
JACK REMAINS CALM WHEN HE RUN INTO HIS BETRAYERS!!
So Jack is heartbroken and striking out but doing it in a way that does not make it look like he is losing his mind when in fact he is insanely jealous of his wife and brother's affair. Jack's haircut looks fresh and neat. Ashley's heart was breaking for her brother at the Foundation meeting. Eileen Davidson's tears were as real as they come. Davidson is probably one of the most underrated soap diva's of all time. She can play all ends of the spectrum from sweet sister, Mom & wife to villian at the drop of a hat. Let's Get Soapy loves her evil as a DiMera on Days of Our Lives and loves how sweet she can be on Young and the Restless but let's get back to Jack.
Jack has a new attitude and a new hairstyle
Oh sweet sweet Jack. The fans loved to see the bad side of you when you portrayed Marco. One of the things that really had Phyllis twisted in all of this is that there were moments when she was really grooving on the bad boy that was the character of Marco. That is one of the reasons she drifted over to bad boy Billy Abbott. Maybe EVIL Jack will be more to Phyllis's real taste in men? Do the fans want to see Phyllis with Jack or Billy?

Wow, Peter Bergman acted his butt off on today's episode of The Young and Restless. He asked Phyllis point blank if she had slept with his brother and she admitted that she has. He wanted details and dates and figured out that while she couldn't give it to him, she freely gave it to his baby brother.

He lost it big time and left her a crumbled mess on the floor. Then he went on television and announced it to the world that his brother has slept with his wife. Wow!!! Do the viewers think that the character of Jack is done with the character of Phyllis? Phyllis is known to be a cheater. She cheated on Jack, she cheated on Nick and now she has cheated on Jack again. Can she ever be faithful to any man?

What a sad heart felt scene delivered by Kristoff St. John
Today the Young and Restless didn't just have one heart felt death, they delivered two. One death left a peaceful corpse and the other death left some remains in the form of tissue and blood. The pain felt by Neil and Chelsea when faced with the deaths of their loved ones was evident and both actors deserve some kudos for their fabulous. We do have some gripes however and one would be, why not give Neil a few weeks with his mother before her death. The writers had the power to do that since the writers have the power of life and death with the stroke of a keyboard. As a viewer, it would have been nice to see them all have a little time with her, in fact, just enough to love her deeply and then lose her.
Neil's family rally's around him when they learn his mother has died.
The support Neil's family gave himwhen they found him after discovering that his mother had died was wonderful. The Winter's family had a healing today among all this grief. Then of course we have poor Chelsea losing Adam again. How many times is that woman going to grieve her husband? How many people believe Adam really died in that explosion? He certainly could have crawled out of there and the blood they claim to have found could have been from Chloe shooting him with the dart. In fact, isn't it better to believe that Chelsea dragged him out of there and is holding him captive somewhere so she could torture him? FOR CHELSEA & ADAM - "FOREVER YOU, FOREVER ME"

While we are all freaking out because it looks like (we repeat LOOKS LIKE) Adam died in the explosion, Let's Get Soapy just can't get over some of the tongue is cheek cutesy things that the Young and Restless writers stuck in among-st all the heartache. We are talking about Dylan finding the "Chicken Nugget" in the garbage of the Hotel room and holding it so seriously in his hands pointing it out to Paul says, "Connors favorite, they were here." Dylan, it is almost as if you have been stalking that little guy. How about at the air strip when Dylan picked up Connor's dinosaur and said, Connor's favorite toy. Who knew that Dylan was so UP TO DATE on all of Connors favorites from his food to his toys when in fact he had been out of that little boy's life since he was just a few months old, long before he could have established a favorite solid food or a favorite toy. Are the Let's Get Soapy fans totally out of their minds to think that was weird?
