Young and Restless Cabin Killer storyline gets a failing grade from most fans

The Young and Restless cabin killer fails are many.  Some are pretty obvious, others are not so obvious.  Here are a few that really stand out.    

They made such a big deal about Fen but now he is not even mentioned in any of it.  Supposedly Fen was caught cheating on tests in college.  Like who was going to be following some loser kid from the GC to just wait for him to screw up so they could get something on him?

We are supposed to believe that either Marco or Detective Harding was spying on Fen to uncover something he was doing illegally so they could hold it over his head so he would sneak drugs into their party and knock them all out.  To what end?  So Harding could erase Austin’s hard drive?  Geez, there would have been a million easier ways to get that done. 

How about Marco hitting Abby over the head?  Why and to what end?  Another dead end wasted story-line. 

How about Summer remembering that she hit her husband and then she didn’t but yet she still knew where the murder weapon was kept?

And Courtney, dear sweet Courtney we are to believe was lured to the cabin by Harding in her wedding dress so she could what??  Arrest Jack Abbott for hitting Abby over the head.  This story-line has more holes in it than a piece of Swiss cheese.  We don’t think we have ever seen sloppier writing than this.
