The only think Let’s Get Soapy can figure is that the writers have concocted this story-line by having Jennifer briefly go to Daniel after telling him to stay out of her business repeatedly to then go to Daniel 2 weeks ago and ask him to talk to JJ.
LGS thought that was forced and convoluted then and now it is apparent that they did this just so they could build up to the scene yesterday (Friday) with Nicole finding Jennifer in Daniel’s apartment.

The way Daniel dismissed Nicole was not only rude but heartbreaking for a woman in love and then for him to actually scold her for hanging around. Daniel is an ass. He lectures Nicole 24-7 about Eric but he apparently still has some issues or residual feelings for Jennifer and her family or at least that is what the writers want us to believe.

Nicole has met the sexy Australian who has asked her out. This is obviously giving Nicole the push she needed to accept that invitation so she can go out to dinner with Xander, Eric and Serena to get her right smack in the middle of the Twin Elephants diamond smuggling caper.

LGS would like to know what the regular viewers thought of Daniel’s treatment of Nicole on Friday? Should Nicole walk away from Daniel and never look back?

It was incredibly rude of him to literally slam the door in her face, but she gave him very little time to respond to that flood of texts & when he said it wasn't a good time [on the phone], she should have realized that he could have been dealing with something at work. If so, what was he supposed to do - just stop? "Hey, Nic, no problem. Let's chat while my patient bleeds to death on the operating table".
ReplyDeleteTo me, it's obvious that this relationship isn't going to work out. Daniel doesn't care enough & Nicole is too desperate. Add to that Xander, who appears to be next in line for a relationship with her. By the time that's over, Eric will have found out the truth about Serena and that blasted elephant and he and Nicole will reunite. Eric's dense so that may take a while, though. Not spoilers, by the way, and since I find Eric about as interesting as a glass of water, I really hope I'm wrong. I love Nicole & thinks she has chemistry with just about everyone but absolutely none with Eric.
