General Hospital: Hilarious Franco & Denise Scene

‘Let’s Get Soapy,’ is still laughing over the Franco and Denise scene today on General Hospital.  How hilarious was Roger Howarth (Franco) and Maura West (Denise/Ava) today on the show? 

Was that not one of the funniest scenes you have ever seen on an soap opera?  Roger’s timing is perfect and he morphed into a guy from Brooklyn right in front of our eyes.

When he stopped kissing Denise, he had her big chunk of gum in his mouth, her bright red lipstick all over his lips and face.  Then he put his arm around her and stood there hanging on her like a guy from Brooklyn would do.  All that was missing was a white tee shirt with a pack of cigarettes nestled in the sleeve.

It was a priceless scene and one that the actors should consider for their next year Emmy submission.  How lucky is Maura West to be spending time liplocking with the hunks of General Hospital, last year with Sonny and Morgan and just lately back with Morgan, Silas and now Franco.  I am sure if someone asked Maura about the hardships of her job, she was say that it’s a tough job but somebody has to do it.
