Young and Restless Labor Day Spoiler

Sage in the hospital
Young and Restless Labor Day spoiler reveals off screen conflict we never knew was going on...

There is conflict between Ester and Collin that has been going on the whole time that Jill was away but we never saw it.  It comes to light on the Labor Day episode.   Ester believes that Collin has been hitting on her and Collin denies it and in fact thinks that Ester is a bit crazy.  The episode takes us to flashbacks of some private moments between the two of them and how they both perceive things differently.  One has to wonder however, if Collin was being such a pest, why didn’t Ester throw him out or move out before now?  After some cute flashbacks it gets sad when they show us Ester saying goodbye to Mrs. C’s drawing over the fireplace as she leaves the mansion with just one suitcase.  They mentioned Chloe at the Tribute so perhaps Ester is heading to her daughter where Ester will discover that she in fact has a new grandchild?

Paragon Project
The Paragon Project is a computer virus which Adam, Ian and a member of the Geek squad uploaded to Victor Newman’s computer.

In the meantime, the family is at the hospital as Nick and Sage have a baby scare.  It turns out that the doctor thinks that Sage’s pain is being caused by stress and psychological problems and she wants to keep her overnight and she was her to see a shrink.  Looks like Nick did indeed go from one woman with psych problems to another as the viewers have suspected.  We just don’t know how deep Sage’s problems run yet but I am sure we will find out.

During this episode Connor actually says the name Adam in front of Billy when Billy and Chelsea are having a conversation.

Billy and Adam/Gabe argue in front of Connor.  Later that evening Chelsea and Adam discuss being married but back away from it as they are already married.  Well folks, nobody knows that.  Quite frankly, what would be wrong with getting married as Gabe and Chelsea?  Gabe was married to Sage, why not marry Chelsea?  Not sure why the writers backed away from it.  Gabe becoming Chelsea’s husband would give him more legal rights to Chelsea and Connor and he should adopt Connor.  Why are they not doing that?

Ian is having quite a laugh at Victor’s expense.

Billy and Victoria drink together at the A-Club.  They talk about creating the beautiful baby Katherine together.  One has to wonder when exactly Victoria spends time with those children she had to have and why Victor isn’t up her butt and spending time with those kids.  Victoria certainly isn’t mother of the year. Before we know it, Reed will be 16 and back in GC on his own steam making her life miserable and Let’s Get Soapy can’t wait for her to reap the seeds she has sown there.
Are any of the viewers wondering why there is so much emphasis put on Connor and Nick’s new baby but nothing for Katie, Johnny or Reed?  Is it because Victor has total control over Victoria so he does not have to focus on her children?
