Has General Hospital lost another one to Young and Restless

Steve Burton is happy at Young and Restless

So Friday was Jason Thompson’s last film date on the set of General Hospital.  Have no fear however GH fans as you will see him air until very close to the New Year.   Last week Thompson celebrated another birthday and announced that he and his new wife were expecting their first child, in fact twins in the spring. 

Is it really a great time to be out of work?  Not really and that is why Let’s Get Soapy thinks the rumors may be true and Jason Thompson may be heading over to The Young and the Restless. 

Billy Miller likes it at General Hospital 

It wouldn’t be the first time that General Hospital lost a hunk to Y&R.  Fans are still chanting for Steve Burton to come back even though Billy Miller has done a good job.  He will never really be the Jason the fans want.  Billy Miller plans to be his own Jason and it us yet to be decided how well received that Jason will be.

In the meantime, is Jason Thompson who has portrayed Dr. Patrick Drake, son of Dr. Noah Drake and ex-husband to Robin Scorpio heading over to Y&R? 

Rumor has it that Jason has been hired to jump into the spot of Billy Abbott, a character currently being portrayed by Burgess Jenkins who has already announced he is leaving because the commute from one coast to the other has become too much. 

Has the Young and the Restless done it again and gotten a hold of another one of General Hospital’s golden boys? 

Time will tell folks and you won’t have to wait a whole lot of time as just like General Hospital, The Young and the Restless is only filmed about 6 week to 2 months out so we should all know pretty soon if the rumors are true.
