Young and Restless Sharon's HUGE DISCOVERY SPOILER

Hillary kisses Neil
So Gwen is really slipping left and right about guilt and so is Neil.  When is somebody going to figure this out?  When is Dylan going to act on it?  So this episode kicks off with Devon and Gwen talking.  Then we see Hillary kissing Neil which previewed yesterday.

Dylan has a video conference with Sharon.  He tells her that Sage and Nick lost their baby and Sharon yells out, “NO.”  Her doctor tells her to calm down and get off the video call.

Hillary really throws herself at Neil and Neil walks away from her.  Gwen in downstairs drinking again and she is pretty much done with the whole mess. She is afraid she is going to lose Neil to Hillary and she might not be wrong.

Sage is once again lashing out at Nick.  The distance between them is growing larger.

Sharon is very upset about Nick and Sages baby
Sharon is now worried that her baby could die.  She truly believes she is going to have a new baby boy. Sharon is upset and the doctor gives her another shot of sedatives.

Gwen says maybe Hillary doesn’t remember loving Devon because she never did love him.  She accuses him of still loving Hillary and he is having trouble denying it.

Dr. Neville shows up at Hillary’s door.  Hillary wants to know why he is risking everything to help a stranger. He tells her all about his mother.  You get some insight into Dr. Neville.  He says to her sometimes crazy saves lives.  Remember, antibiotics weren’t always a THING.  They were created/invented almost by accident and save lives.  Let's have some fun with this as truly everything has come from somewhere.  At one time a simple bacterial infection could kill us before the penicillin was discovered and then recreated.  Here is how that went:

"When I woke up just after dawn on September 28, 1928, I certainly didn't plan to revolutionize all medicine by discovering the world's first antibiotic, or bacteria killer," Fleming would later say, "But I suppose that was exactly what I did."[10]
By 1927, Fleming had been investigating the properties of staphylococci. He was already well-known from his earlier work, and had developed a reputation as a brilliant researcher, but his laboratory was often untidy. On 3 September 1928, Fleming returned to his laboratory having spent August on holiday with his family. Before leaving, he had stacked all his cultures of staphylococci on a bench in a corner of his laboratory. On returning, Fleming noticed that one culture was contaminated with a fungus, and that the colonies of staphylococci immediately surrounding the fungus had been destroyed, whereas other staphylococci colonies farther away were normal, famously remarking "That's funny".[11] Fleming showed the contaminated culture to his former assistant Merlin Price, who reminded him, "That's how you discovered lysozyme."[12] Fleming grew the mold in a pure culture and found that it produced a substance that killed a number of disease-causing bacteria. He identified the mold as being from the Penicillium genus, and, after some months of calling it"mould juice", named the substance. Penicillin was released on 7 March 1929.[13] The laboratory in which Fleming discovered and tested penicillin is preserved as the Alexander Fleming Laboratory Museum in St. Mary's Hospital, Paddington.

Hoped you enjoyed that little lesson in medical history. Now back to our regularly scheduled program.

Nick and Sage go to marriage counseling.  He admits to betraying Sharon.  He is trying to convince Sage that he wants to stay with her.  They kiss at the end of the counseling session and tell each other that they love each other.  We are just not sure why that scene was in there?  It must be leading somewhere.

They go looking for Hillary and she is not in her room.  Devon yells at Neil.  Dylan finds Hillary in the lobby of the A-Club.  Gwen wants Neil to tell Devon the truth and she tells him in front of Devon, “if you don’t tell him, I will.”

Sharon’s doctor (Dr. Anderson) sees Nick and Sage leaving marriage counseling.  She brags on how great Sharon is doing and looking forward to meeting her little bundle of joy.  In the meantime, Sharon is in her room and she realizes she hasn’t felt the baby kick.  She gets up and looks in the mirror and see’s her real self with no pregnancy belly.  She starts yelling, there is no baby, there is no baby.

What this means is that she is going to have to tell Sharon she already had the baby and she is going to present Sharon with Christian anytime now.
