Young and Restless: Is Adam suicidal?

Adam and Nick - Brother's at last
Today's Young and Restless was so sad with Adam handing his son over to this brother Nick.  We really as viewers shouldn't find that strange and Adam was going to let Nick raise his son Christian.  What was so sad was to see a man like Adam be so broken that he has given up.

Has Adam given up on life?
Heartbreaking lines from today's show:  Adam to Nick: "Be a father to my son."  "I love Jack, he is a great man but I need a Newman."  The one that really got us here at Let's Get Soapy was:  "You remind me of my mother."

One has to ask, what the HELL is wrong with Nikki?  Since when is this behavior acceptable?  Do the viewers want to jump through the TV screen and slap her about the face?

Did today and the scene with Nick and Adam feel like a goodbye?  Listen to this song by the LITTLE RIVER BAND that definitely reflects today's episode of the Young and the Restless and Adam and Chelsea.
