Was there anybody that walked away from General Hospital on Friday with tears flowing. Maurice Bernard and Max Gail are acting their butts off on these scenes.
MAX GAIL is fantastic
They are really capturing the pain of having a loved one who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease. Sonny is really struggling with letting his father go one moment sooner than he has too. Mike, on the other hand would rather go sooner than be a burden and cause anymore trouble or bad memories for his son.
Both actors are doing some of the best work of their lives with this story line. Let's Get Soapy definitely sees some Emmy nominations in their near future.
The actor best known as Nick Fallon from Days of Our Lives has stepped in to fill the role of Damian Spinelli. The actor Bradford Anderson was busy filming a prime time role so he was unavailable.
A smile for Maxie
Bradford did send out an apology to his General Hospital fans and explained that his absence was not the soapers fault but is own unavailability. This is a recurring role but a very precious recurring role. Are the fans enjoying the job that Blake is doing as Spinelli?
Did Hillary sabotage Mariah on the Young and Restless

This past week of The Young and the Restless Devon asked Mariah to be the temporary host of GC Buzz because Hillary is out of control. During the segment of Chelsea 2.0 Mariah attempted to model an outfit from the new spring clothing line. In front of the camera, Mariah took a fall flat on her face. You can clearly see the heel from Mariah's shoe has detached from the shoe itself.
Mariah is left stunned and shaken after the fall
Sharon had seen Hillary holding those same shoes just shortly before Mariah put them on. Did Hillary loosen the heel hoping that it would cause Mariah to fall and look foolish? Would Hillary actually risk somebody else's health to get what she wants? How long will it be before Sharon or Mariah realize that it was Hillary that caused the fall? Let's Get Soapy wants to first say that Kiki and Avery are absolutely great together. The chemistry between both girls and even Ava is remarkable.
Sonny wakes up to find Nelle in bed with him.
Now onto the mess that is Nelle. It looks like Nelle is going to make her move on Sonny after he has had too much to drink. He is going to wake up to find her in bed with him and have no recognition on how they got there. Why is Bobbie the only person to see through Nelle at this time? One has to ask themselves, if Sonny was that drunk, did anything really happen between he and Nelle or is it something she will try and make him think happened? How long will it be before it is revealed to Carly that Sonny may or may not have slept with Nelle?
For all the All My Children fans, Days of our Lives fans and even Young and Restless fans we would like to bring the kind and loving heart and mind of Vincent Irizzary to your attention.
As Vincent speaks of irony in his tribute to Pine Valley and Agnes Nixon, a 7th sense must have been telling him that the woman he adored, fought to get recognized via the Kennedy Honors would pass away just 5 short days later. Vincent Irizzary is and has always been a fabulous human being and a phenomenal actor. Here is what Vincent said on his Facebook page on September 23, 2016.
Interesting coincidence. Ended up in Glendale today; a part of town I rarely, rarely visit. Decided to go to The Americana for a salad and glass of wine to bring the exhausting, yet satisfying, work week to an end; decompress. Perfect afternoon. Clear, sunny skies. Slight breeze. However, what makes this seemingly perfect late afternoon even more curious is what I recently, completely by chance, spotted on my Twitter feed; this accompanying article. Today happens to mark the 5 year anniversary of the final episode airing of ABC's 40+ yr run of All My Children... Personally, what makes this even more relevant during my weekending exhale is the fact that the last scenes we shot and produced of AMC ABC were at the studio we relocated to here in LA from NYC after 40 yrs of production, just 8 minutes away from where I'm typing this post, so enjoying my New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, at a place I would visit back then, but haven't since I worked on the show those 5 years back. Not once. Coincidence? Hmmmm... Perhaps the restless spirit of Dr DH led me here to reminisce, reflect on this day's significance... Thank you, dear, dear Agnes Nixon, and all I had the privilege of working alongside throughout those magical years. Thank you, even more, all of you who had invited us into your homes, year after glorious year, graciously weaving us into the fabric of your everyday lives. To you I send my greetings from our dear, eternal "Pine Valley." I raise a glass to you all...

Look at all that talent in that photo. Susan Lucci went to Prime Time with Devious Maids. The Queen of daytime has not taken a role on another daytime drama. Vincent Irizzary is now on Days of our Lives. Michael E. Knight was recently on Young and Restless as Dr. Simon Neville and Rebecca Buddig is currently on General Hospital portraying Hayden Barnes. Walt Willy expressed his condolences on his Facebook page. Also pictured is Lee Meriwether who portrayed the role of Ruth Martin after Mary Fickett was too ill to continue. Mary Fickett subsequently passed away on September 12, 2011. Ray McDonnell and Lee Meriwether are still alive. Also pictured is Cameron Mathison with his on screen daughter. He is currently a host on Entertainment tonight. Last but not least is Jill Larson who played the 2nd Opal Courtland, Michael E. Knights birth-mother on All My Children.
The cast of 'All My Children' and 'One Life To Live' always had a special relationship with Agnes. She was truly their other mother when they worked on her shows. They were really all her children and that is how she always treated each and everyone of them.
JACK REMAINS CALM WHEN HE RUN INTO HIS BETRAYERS!!
So Jack is heartbroken and striking out but doing it in a way that does not make it look like he is losing his mind when in fact he is insanely jealous of his wife and brother's affair. Jack's haircut looks fresh and neat. Ashley's heart was breaking for her brother at the Foundation meeting. Eileen Davidson's tears were as real as they come. Davidson is probably one of the most underrated soap diva's of all time. She can play all ends of the spectrum from sweet sister, Mom & wife to villian at the drop of a hat. Let's Get Soapy loves her evil as a DiMera on Days of Our Lives and loves how sweet she can be on Young and the Restless but let's get back to Jack.
Jack has a new attitude and a new hairstyle
Oh sweet sweet Jack. The fans loved to see the bad side of you when you portrayed Marco. One of the things that really had Phyllis twisted in all of this is that there were moments when she was really grooving on the bad boy that was the character of Marco. That is one of the reasons she drifted over to bad boy Billy Abbott. Maybe EVIL Jack will be more to Phyllis's real taste in men? Do the fans want to see Phyllis with Jack or Billy?

The terror continues in Salem as the 3 Amigos have teamed up to take their respective enemies down and they have devised a plan to do it. Like like art imitating real life, an explosion goes off in the city of Salem and that explosion entraps a lot of the residents.

Chad and Gabby continue to get close and they do have some history together. Deimos is worried about the baby that Chloe is carrying so he wants her to move into the mansion. He wants all his relatives living in the mansion with him. He must be trying to catch up on 30 years of living with NO FAMILY. Eduardo is back in Salem and thinks the escape of the 3 Amigos is totally his fault and he confides this to his good friend John. Kate is the female version of the devil although she has a real affinity for Chad. Makes you wonder about that one. Eve's time in Salem is over.

Wow, Peter Bergman acted his butt off on today's episode of The Young and Restless. He asked Phyllis point blank if she had slept with his brother and she admitted that she has. He wanted details and dates and figured out that while she couldn't give it to him, she freely gave it to his baby brother.
Jack let's Phyllis have it with both barrels
He lost it big time and left her a crumbled mess on the floor. Then he went on television and announced it to the world that his brother has slept with his wife. Wow!!! Do the viewers think that the character of Jack is done with the character of Phyllis? Phyllis is known to be a cheater. She cheated on Jack, she cheated on Nick and now she has cheated on Jack again. Can she ever be faithful to any man?

This weeks news that 3 actors from General Hospital has left the fans scratching their heads in confusion and disappointment. First it was announced that Tyler Christopher would not be coming back after contract negotiations hit a brick wall.
She was so HAPPY to have her WORK BADGE back again!!
Then the rumors started flying that the character of Sabrina would be killed off and it turned out not to be rumors. Teresa Castillo who went through two (2) real life pregnancy's while working on General Hospital was let go. Some fans thought maybe this is what Castillo, perhaps to say home and spend time with her two babies before they started school. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case and Castillo leaving General Hospital was not her idea. She was told 2 months ago that the writers were killing Sabrina off. Then before the fans could get used to or finish mourning the death of a beloved character, the news came that the Bryan Craig, the actor that played Morgan Stone Corinthos has quit the show. He Tweeted out his thanks to ABC, the cast and crew and the fans that have supported him. Most fans are aware that General Hospital has a huge cast and maybe some trimming and tighting up of the belt is needed to keep the show running but talk about a Triple slam. What a sad heart felt scene delivered by Kristoff St. John
Today the Young and Restless didn't just have one heart felt death, they delivered two. One death left a peaceful corpse and the other death left some remains in the form of tissue and blood. The pain felt by Neil and Chelsea when faced with the deaths of their loved ones was evident and both actors deserve some kudos for their fabulous. We do have some gripes however and one would be, why not give Neil a few weeks with his mother before her death. The writers had the power to do that since the writers have the power of life and death with the stroke of a keyboard. As a viewer, it would have been nice to see them all have a little time with her, in fact, just enough to love her deeply and then lose her.
Neil's family rally's around him when they learn his mother has died.
The support Neil's family gave himwhen they found him after discovering that his mother had died was wonderful. The Winter's family had a healing today among all this grief. Then of course we have poor Chelsea losing Adam again. How many times is that woman going to grieve her husband? How many people believe Adam really died in that explosion? He certainly could have crawled out of there and the blood they claim to have found could have been from Chloe shooting him with the dart. In fact, isn't it better to believe that Chelsea dragged him out of there and is holding him captive somewhere so she could torture him? FOR CHELSEA & ADAM - "FOREVER YOU, FOREVER ME"

While we are all freaking out because it looks like (we repeat LOOKS LIKE) Adam died in the explosion, Let's Get Soapy just can't get over some of the tongue is cheek cutesy things that the Young and Restless writers stuck in among-st all the heartache. We are talking about Dylan finding the "Chicken Nugget" in the garbage of the Hotel room and holding it so seriously in his hands pointing it out to Paul says, "Connors favorite, they were here." Dylan, it is almost as if you have been stalking that little guy. How about at the air strip when Dylan picked up Connor's dinosaur and said, Connor's favorite toy. Who knew that Dylan was so UP TO DATE on all of Connors favorites from his food to his toys when in fact he had been out of that little boy's life since he was just a few months old, long before he could have established a favorite solid food or a favorite toy. Are the Let's Get Soapy fans totally out of their minds to think that was weird?

It seems the Hernandez family is here to stay in Salem, all of them. Let's talk about them for a minute. The Let's Get Soapy lunch crew thought that the scene where Rafe, Gabrielle and Mama Hernandez was saying goodbye to Eduardo was one of the most touching scenes on Days in quite a while. The one person most viewers can't seem to stand is Dario and for good reason. Viewers watching this current story-line know it is Dario that is causing the trouble to make it look like his father's enemies are going to hurt his family. What a tool that Dario is and then to go to Deimos and tell him not to hurt Nicole. Really Dario, really? How do you feel about the Hernandez family?
