The Young and the Restless- Nick's dirty floor sex with Sage

LGS was thinking about the fact that Nick thinks nothing of having sex in the middle of a construction site on a dirty floor.  When a building is under construction, there is lots of dirt and dust and having sex is the middle of a construction is NOT SEXY.  It is actually pretty gross.

Before much more time passed or before Nick has the opportunity to have more sex again in what will be his office because when he sees Sage, his pants come off, LGS wanted to make mention of that day and how very gross it was.

This is not just Nick’s fault.  Sage is actually pretty gross allowing herself to be treated this way.  It is not like Nick can’t afford a hotel room.  On top of that, they didn't lock the door as Sharon walks in on them and quite frankly, it could have been a office worker or one of Nicks kids so they caught a break with it being Sharon.   

We see that after Sharon has words with Nick, Victoria visits Nick there and so does Summer.

A few days after Sage has sex with Nick on the dirty construction floor, she comes to visit him at the Underground and he starts yelling at her and treating her badly. She tells him he shouldn’t be talking to her that way and she is like, “oh, it’s okay.”  She is such a lap dog.

Are the writers intentionally trying to make the viewers dislike Nick?  LGS thinks Nick's behavior could push any sane woman over the edge. 


LGS already believes that the majority of the folks that watch Y&R don’t like Sage.  What is her story anyhow?  As far as we know, she was an orphan that Gabriel’s grandmother took in.  Is that going to mean that she is going to become somebody’s sister so her character can develop familial ties to GC? 

How do you feel about Nick jumping into this relationship with Sage?

Do the viewers think that Sharon should be holding Nick’s involvement with Sandra’s neck breaking accident over his head to stop him from stopping her from seeing Faith?
