Bethany played by Chrishell Stause

The dropped story-lines on The Young and the Restless continue as Let's Get Soapy wonders what happened to Bethany and her story-line with Billy?

Most people are aware that Chrishell Stause who was hired to play this recurring short lived character on The Young and the Restless is actually the real life girlfriend of Justin Hartley.  Hartley was married to former co-star Lindsay Hartley whom he fell in love with while they were on the short lived soap Passions.  That marriage ended in 2012.

There is an All My Children connection and both Chrishell Stause and Lindsay Hartley played sister-in-laws on the soap the last year that it aired.  Chrishell went over to Days of our Lives where Lindsay Hartley had a short stint before she was killed off as the character Arianna Hernandez.  The soap world is tight knit and with only 4 daytime soapers left, the characters and parts available are few and far between.

So what happened to the character of Bethany played by Hartley's real life girlfriend Chrishell?  Will Hartley demand that his girlfriend get a pivotal role on his soap?  You'll have to stay tuned to find out.

Is Travis being phased out?
