The children on soaps are aged rapidly all the time, well except for Arianna on Days. It is really time for them to age her and we hope to see that soon.
With that being said, how are the fans reacting to the TIME HOP on Days?
Is there anybody that believes that Gabi is actually over Chad? We here at Soap News Today thinks that Gabi is just biding her time with Eli while she works on a plan to get Chad back.
How about Justin and Kayla? It has been way less than a year since Adrienne has died in some kind of accident which they have yet to reveal and he is already shacked up with Kayla before the ink was dry on her divorce papers. What could Will have done to kill his husband's mother? Did he run her over with a car? How about Kristen & Loni becoming Nuns? Will is in the same jail cell with the guy that strangled him, what is up with that writer's? Kristen's baby is dead. Xander is pretending to be the baby daddy to Sarah's baby. Princess is still around a whole year later. It takes Jennifer a year to wake up but Jack never left her side. JJ is in mourning over Hailey. It looks like Kristen somehow killed her and JJ will not forgive this sin. He is now popping pills to forget.
Marlena gets a fellowship arranged by Princess Gina and goes away for 6 months, comes home to find Hope romancing John. Have we left anything out? We think the time hop is pretty interesting although we can only assume all the deaths have to do more with budget than exciting story lines. What do you think of the time hop? What happens when brothers are sworn enemies after the same girl, the same business and the same house? Well, you get Stefan, Chad and Abigail. Will someone end up dead? Will E.J., come back and take it all away from them? Who is the baby Daddy?
Who is the FATHER?
Is Chad the father or is Stefan? If Stefan is the father, will Chad stay with Abigail? You know that Stefan is not just going to walk away from his baby.
Is Gabrielle going to be a game changer? Will Gabi swoop in and steal Stefan's heart? Or will Gabi plan on taking back Chad, the love of her life?
General Hospital: Will Sonny be able to forgive Sam for what she did to him?

What do the viewers think? Will Sonny be able to forgive Sam for shooting him and kicking him into that hole? Can he trust her? Even if he can somehow forgive her, can he ever trust her again? Now he knows that somewhere deep down inside, Sam really does not like or trust him to not cause harm to her family. Will this episode cause permanent damage?

Is it possible that this episode will cause permanent damage between the relationship between Sonny and Jason? How do you ever forget that your best friends wife wanted you dead? We all know that there was a parasite effecting her brain but does that mean that she harbors no ill feelings toward Sonny? We think not!! What if Nikolas isn't dead? What if when Nikolas tried to kill his grandmother Helena the poison tea didn't kill her but instead almost killed her? What if Nikolas and Helena are both alive and laying low on Cassadine Island? Would that explain how Valentin was able to get the deed of Spoon Island signed over to him?
Valentin is back in Port Charles so where is Claudette?
What if Charlotte is actually Valentin's child and Nathan's ex-wife Claudette is still messing with everyone? Lots of people wanted to surmise that Charlotte was actually Lulu's daughter but Charlotte is 7 and Lulu and Dante didn't even start to try to have a baby until 3 years ago so the time line does not match. What if Nikolas comes back for Ava and Ava takes Avery away from Sonny? What if???
What if Kelly was not dead? Why is it that we should believe that Kelly is dead? She could have been pretending to be dead and or she could have just been injured. What if she is not dead and comes back with Jack Jr.? Wouldn't that really throw a wrench in Phyllis trying to get Jack back? Would Jack be willing to give Kelly, a women who loved him unconditionally another chance, especially if she brought back his son or daughter?

How great would it be for Stitch to have his sister and a nephew come back to town when he just lost his wife and his son is in rehab? What do you the viewer think about this WHAT IF? Check out Little River Band's "Forever You, Forever Me," which could tell the story of Jack & Phyllis or the story of Kelly & Jack. Heck, it could even tell the story of Stitch and Abby.

Jason telling Carly she should go home was over the top for most people. She could certainly stand by her man and be by his side if their son had died in a regular accident but in fact, she thinks her son is dead because of a direct action from her husband. When she said she should have learned her lesson after Michael spent a year of his life in a coma, "Let's Get Soapy," was agreeing. No matter what Laura Wright is doing some of her best work ever! Do the fans think that they could stay married to Sonny if they found themselves in the same scenario?
Baby Lizzie doesn't care if she has a sibling right now
Seriously, Are you kidding us? Does Rick and Mya actually have the nerve to ask Nicole to have another baby for them? There baby is only a few months old and they already want Nicole to pop out another one. If they were the ones that actually had to carry the baby and push the baby out, they might not be so quick to want another one right away. On top of that, these children are actually Nicole's those are her eggs. Her bro/sis wouldn't have any eggs as he wouldn't have been born with that plumbing. So in fact, they are asking her to give a second child of hers to them and pretend she is the Aunt.
Rick tries using the baby to get Nicole to say yes.
What would happen if Nicole went to have another baby for them and something happened in the pregnancy or delivery which would stop her from being able to have her own children in the future. Enough is enough. She managed to give them this wonderful gift with nothing bad happening to anybody. They may not be so lucky the next time. How about Nicole tell them that she and Zander will give Lizzie a cousin/sibling when they have a baby because biologically, that is truth as to what is actually going to happen when Nicole has children with a man she loves.
Chloe takes Belle to the place where her sister died.
Young and Restless Billy meets Bella on the 3rd Anniversary of Delia's death. He is immediately taken with the little girl and remembers the conversation he had with Chloe when she asked him to make another baby with her. Is it possible that Billy is suspicious of where Bella came from and how she came to be?

Do the viewers think that Billy will be able to forgive Chloe for taking his sperm and for keeping his new daughter away from him all this time? Will Billy and Chloe become a couple because they have this new miracle to love? How could Chloe not feel totally guilty keeping Billy away from his child when she sees he is hurting so badly? Is she just down right evil or is she still mentally disturbed?
Quinn is cut out of her husbands life by his family
Seriously, are the viewers okay with the way Ridge is treating Quinn? How about Ridge and his charming daughter getting the lawyer to pretend that the Power of Attorney that Eric signed over to Quinn doesn't exist? Carter must be pretty sure that Eric is going to die or be a non-commutative vegetable to go along with this because as soon as Eric recovers, he is going to be so upset that it may cause him to have another stroke.

Why didn't Eric sign that marriage license? How are the viewers feeling about the way that the family is treating Quinn and how about her son throwing her under the bus today?
Does nobody in the town see these lumberjack looking guys walking around? As far as story-lines go, this one has got to go. Look, it is that time of the year again and the show is hunting for ratings but lets end this pain now. Nobody cares about Xander, Clyde or Orpheus, the classic villain from days gone by. The fact that these guys have turned a whole city on its ear is ridiculous. None of them are the sharpest knives in anyone's kitchen draws.
Chloe's Baby Daddy is going to ROCK Nicole's world
Let's Get Soapy thinks they know who the father to Chloe's baby really is and it is going to be a game changer for a lot of people. Theo, the young man who couldn't handle a crying baby and toddler in the dark is going to be using a handgun next week. Oh yeah, that is totally believable writers. After all, just last week he wept like a baby in the arms of Ciara as his father lay bleeding. This is Salem's way of getting a character with autism to grow up quick. Justin is worried about his ex-wife's proximity to the DiMera's and he is not shy about voicing it. We don't just think Thomas may be in danger because of danger minds Clyde. We KNOW Thomas is in danger next week and it is nail biting.
For all the All My Children fans, Days of our Lives fans and even Young and Restless fans we would like to bring the kind and loving heart and mind of Vincent Irizzary to your attention.
As Vincent speaks of irony in his tribute to Pine Valley and Agnes Nixon, a 7th sense must have been telling him that the woman he adored, fought to get recognized via the Kennedy Honors would pass away just 5 short days later. Vincent Irizzary is and has always been a fabulous human being and a phenomenal actor. Here is what Vincent said on his Facebook page on September 23, 2016.
Interesting coincidence. Ended up in Glendale today; a part of town I rarely, rarely visit. Decided to go to The Americana for a salad and glass of wine to bring the exhausting, yet satisfying, work week to an end; decompress. Perfect afternoon. Clear, sunny skies. Slight breeze. Moderate temperature. LA autumn at its finest. Doesn't hurt to have the musical standards I adore playing over the PA outside where I sit, harmoniously joining the flowing waters of the nearby gilded fountain...Sinatra, Bennett, Holiday... Yes. What Friday's were created for... However, what makes this seemingly perfect late afternoon even more curious is what I recently, completely by chance, spotted on my Twitter feed; this accompanying article. Today happens to mark the 5 year anniversary of the final episode airing of ABC's 40+ yr run of All My Children... Personally, what makes this even more relevant during my weekending exhale is the fact that the last scenes we shot and produced of AMC ABC were at the studio we relocated to here in LA from NYC after 40 yrs of production, just 8 minutes away from where I'm typing this post, so enjoying my New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, at a place I would visit back then, but haven't since I worked on the show those 5 years back. Not once. Coincidence? Hmmmm... Perhaps the restless spirit of Dr DH led me here to reminisce, reflect on this day's significance... Thank you, dear, dear Agnes Nixon, and all I had the privilege of working alongside throughout those magical years. Thank you, even more, all of you who had invited us into your homes, year after glorious year, graciously weaving us into the fabric of your everyday lives. To you I send my greetings from our dear, eternal "Pine Valley." I raise a glass to you all...

Look at all that talent in that photo. Susan Lucci went to Prime Time with Devious Maids. The Queen of daytime has not taken a role on another daytime drama. Vincent Irizzary is now on Days of our Lives. Michael E. Knight was recently on Young and Restless as Dr. Simon Neville and Rebecca Buddig is currently on General Hospital portraying Hayden Barnes. Walt Willy expressed his condolences on his Facebook page. Also pictured is Lee Meriwether who portrayed the role of Ruth Martin after Mary Fickett was too ill to continue. Mary Fickett subsequently passed away on September 12, 2011. Ray McDonnell and Lee Meriwether are still alive. Also pictured is Cameron Mathison with his on screen daughter. He is currently a host on Entertainment tonight. Last but not least is Jill Larson who played the 2nd Opal Courtland, Michael E. Knights birth-mother on All My Children.
The cast of 'All My Children' and 'One Life To Live' always had a special relationship with Agnes. She was truly their other mother when they worked on her shows. They were really all her children and that is how she always treated each and everyone of them.
Let's Get Soapy is devastated to learn of the passing of the mother creator of 'All My Children,' and 'One Life To Live." Agnes Nixon was a genius at bringing real life drama into our living rooms through her writing of brilliant characters and story-line. It is hard to see typing past the tears that are rolling down my face. We are never supposed to write in first person but this time I have to make an exception. I cannot begin to do justice at this time in tribute to this wonderful, beautiful brilliant woman who brought so much joy into people's lives, day after day, year after year through her storytelling. The Chairman of Disney Robert A. Iger confirmed earlier today that Ms. Nixon passed away. He said this:
"It is with a heavy heart I mourn the passing of television pioneer Agnes Nixon, someone I was proud to call a friend. Agnes’ impact on daytime television and pop culture is undeniable. He went on to say: "She was the first to champion socially relevant topics, and the towns and characters Agnes brought to life leave an indelible imprint on television that will be remembered forever. On behalf of Walt Disney and ABC, I want to extend our deepest condolences to her family.”
To 'All My Children,' and 'One Life to Live' fans, she was more than just the creator of these shows. She remained very much involved in the shows and was responsible for bringing relevant social topics and events to the surface so that they could be talked about. Soap Stars who worked with Agnes are mourning her loss tonight.
We will love you and miss you forever Miss Agnes!!
