Young and Restless: The nicest hooker ever

Image captured from Y&R aired 5-7-15
The Young and Restless gave us some great scenes last week but LGS thinks that the scene that touched the most hearts and brought out the most emotion was the scene with Michael and the call girl he hired – Felicity.  Felicity has to be the nicest hooker ever.  It is really not fair to call her a hooker because she is actually a high class call girl.

She was gentle, kind and understanding with Michael.  The end result of that encounter was that it seems Michael was not able to perform but that may have had nothing to do with his medical condition at all.  That might have been an emotional issue because he really didn't want to be there with Felicity.  He wanted to be making love to his wife.

The scene was so touching and when Michael cried, people around the world cried with him.  He is struggling so much with his present condition.  Men do go through some of this emotional stuff when dealing with prostate cancer but do they pick new mates for their wives?  Even if they do pick a new mate for their wives, do you they pick a married one?  That is the part of this story line that most viewers just don’t understand.

How could an actual arrest have been made by what Lily heard in the hallway? How did they find Felicity?  Was she hanging out in the bar or is there a cop on duty at the A-Club to catch call girls on their way out the door?  That is just a little something for the reader/viewer to think about.

How about that Cain!! Cain does seem to care more about Lauren and Michael's failing marriage than he does his own.  That much Lily is right about.  We all know that Cain knows what it feels like to be the spouse of a cancer patient but he sure is getting way too wrapped up in it.  Why would Felicity talk to a stranger about her encounter or time with Michael?  That just seemed off to us as well.

So now the viewer knows that Michael is sacrificing himself in order to give his family happiness.  Has he been given information from the doctors that the writers are not making the viewers privy to because as far as we know, he is supposed to be doing well.

What are your thoughts on this and Michael’s recent behavior?

UPDATE on our SPECIAL PROJECT
Before we go we wanted to share our special project with you.  If you have a minute, please read below.  This is a true story about a little boy who will pull at your heartstrings and shows us all what real courage is about.

Super Storm Sandy didn’t just change lives up North.  The aftermath of that storm caused a huge branch to snap in the playground of a day care where this precious little 2 year old boy was playing.  That little boy’s name is Tripp Halstead.  That branch caused traumatic brain injury as it literally crushed a large section of Tripp’s skull which damaged his brain.

The doctors really didn’t think he would survive but he did.  After 6 months, and to date, 16 surgeries, this little boy is now 4 years old and growing, trying to talk, smiling and moving his arms and legs.  He is featured in my new book, “The Traveling Jalapeno’s Meet Tripp Halstead,” which will be available on Amazon soon.  I have written a song that offers hope and inspiration that where there is life, there can be a miracle.  Tripp inspired the song and it is called, “The Little Boy That Could – Tripp’s Song.”  That song has been released on iTunes.  We have great news!!  The song is almost at 1000 downloads in its first week on iTunes.  To hear a sample of the song, check out the YouTube promo.

I want to say thank you to the people that are reading my blogs.  I will keep writing as long as you keep reading.  We are not always going to agree but I do hope that you enjoy most of what I write and I write to share with you.
