This twisted story line has everyone wondering if Ashland really does love Victoria?  Could any conman be this cruel as to continue on with this con even after being caught.  Does he really want Victoria to give up everything and take off with him?  Why would this women even consider this? She didn't give Billy half this consideration.  

Is it love?

If this man is conning her, he is really do a great job of it. Will Victoria walk away from the Newman's, Billy and her children? She seems to live fine without Reed. She always did.  Do you want to see Victoria kick him to the curb or do you want her and Ashland to stay together and attempt the happily ever after?

Missing our daily dose of new soap content

How many of you are absolutely missing your daily dose of brand new soap content?  Days of our Lives is still showing new episodes but those will run out soon as well. 

How many soaps fans like me are wishing all 4 soaps had at least 6 months of soaps in the can?  Heck, I say they should have had a year waiting. How will the soaps come back with social distancing?  What unique things do you think the soaps will use so the viewers can get some new content or will COVID-19 kill the soaps? 

Do you think that soaps can survive this pandemic?  What about the Fall 2020 TV schedule in general?  Will Americans have to watch reruns until the fall of 2021 at this point?  All entertainment across the world may have to be re-imagined.  How do you see this playing out?

DAYS OF OUR LIVES TIME HOP

The children on soaps are aged rapidly all the time, well except for Arianna on Days. It is really time for them to age her and we hope to see that soon.

With that being said, how are the fans reacting to the TIME HOP on Days?  

Is there anybody that believes that Gabi is actually over Chad?  We here at Soap News Today thinks that Gabi is just biding her time with Eli while she works on a plan to get Chad back.

How about Justin and Kayla?  It has been way less than a year since Adrienne has died in some kind of accident which they have yet to reveal and he is already shacked up with Kayla before the ink was dry on her divorce papers.

What could Will have done to kill his husband's mother? Did he run her over with a car?  

How about Kristen & Loni becoming Nuns?  Will is in the same jail cell with the guy that strangled him, what is up with that writer's? 

Kristen's baby is dead.  Xander is pretending to be the baby daddy to Sarah's baby. Princess is still around a whole year later.  

It takes Jennifer a year to wake up but Jack never left her side.  JJ is in mourning over Hailey. It looks like Kristen somehow killed her and JJ will not forgive this sin. He is now popping pills to forget.  

Marlena gets a fellowship arranged by Princess Gina and goes away for 6 months, comes home to find Hope romancing John.  Have we left anything out?  

We think the time hop is pretty interesting although we can only assume all the deaths have to do more with budget than exciting story lines. What do you think of the time hop?  Like it or hate it, we want to hear from you. Post your thoughts below. 

Young and Restless uses a hologram of Neil in farewell shows

Was the use of a hologram on Young and Restless spooky or wonderful to the viewers?

During Wednesday's episode of Young and Restless, the producers decided to use what can only be described as a hologram to show Neil.  In the scene Devon is crying and telling his father that he really still needs him. Did the viewers find this scene sweet or spooky? A little later in the scene, Devon sits on the steps of his home, the same home he found his father's dead body and sobs. The producers/directors decided to end the scene this way which was very well written and very emotional.

The use of a photo in a scene gives dramatic effect

At the very end of this scene, the camera starts on a close up to Devon sobbing on the steps and moves out so we see not only Devon but the picture of Neil on the bar counter.  It looks like they have added a back room to Devon's set so we can expect more scenes happening at this location.

Formerly known to the soap world Farah Fath is a new Mom

Farah took to Twitter and made the birth announcement her self.  Farah married her boyfriend of two years, two years ago. She is now Farah Galfond. 

Farah LeeAllen Fath Galfond portrayed Mimi Lockhart on the NBC soap opera Days of Our Lives from 1999 to 2007, and Gigi Morasco on the ABC Daytime soap opera One Life to Live from 2007 to 2012. Fath returned to Days of Our Lives temporarily in 2018.

How cute are these two??

The above heading does not mean that we think anybody is going to kill anybody in the triangle GH writers are creating. What we mean is that this brain cancer is deadly.  Oscar being depressed by losing Joss to Cameron could drastically reduce his chances for successful treatment.

How long will the writers let this go on before they let Joss know that Oscar has a brain tumor? 

Will Joss and Cameron fall in love while pretending?
Not only can this happen in the fictional land of Port Charles, it happened to me in real life. I asked a guy to pretend to be my boyfriend so I could make my ex-boyfriend jealous and I ended up falling in love and marrying the guy that pretended to be my boyfriend.  

Prediction
So here is the twist as predicted by Let's Get Soapy.  Joss and Cameron are going to realize real feelings for each other.  However, Joss is going to stay with Oscar during his cancer battle because it is the right thing to do.  Both Joss and Cameron's hearts will be breaking because they cannot be together.  Do you think that would be a great story line?

Will Wiley's health issues be the catalyst that will make the truth come out about Michael being Wiley's father? When Michael holds that baby in his arms, he feels a paternal pull toward him.

The baby they have found to play Wiley is absolutely adorable. The casting directors on GH are really good at finding the cutest babies for the show. 

Do the viewers think Michael should raise his son?

Do the viewers think that Michael should raise is own son or should Brad & Lucas be Wiley's parents? When Julian finds out that the baby has health problems, will he be the one to spill the beans that Wiley is not the original baby adopted by his son and Brad?

Tear jerking cliffhangers with Sonny & Mike

Was there anybody that walked away from General Hospital on Friday with tears flowing.  Maurice Bernard and Max Gail are acting their butts off on these scenes.  

MAX GAIL is fantastic

They are really capturing the pain of having a loved one who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease.  Sonny is really struggling with letting his father go one moment sooner than he has too.  Mike, on the other hand would rather go sooner than be a burden and cause anymore trouble or bad memories for his son.  

Both actors are doing some of the best work of their lives with this story line.  Let's Get Soapy definitely sees some Emmy nominations in their near future.

Tripp is perplexed by Ciera's behavior.  Ciera feels sorry for Ben and wants him to move in. She is ready to take on her mother for him.  Can you imagine your daughter defending a serial killer and putting her relationship on the line with her mother to do it?  Claire lets Tripp know who she is feeling about him. 

CHAD, WILL & PAUL

Lots of threesomes and foursomes at Days these days.  Paul now suspects that there is something going on between Will & Sonny. Sonny is admitting to people that he still loves Will.  Sonny admits to Paul that he killed Leo. 

Kate & Ted, Ted & Kate

How does Kate always end up with these evil men?  Does Kate end up taking matters into her own hands and kills Ted?  Does Andre reach out from the grave to get a message to Kate?

Steve & Kayla

Steve wants to know what his wife is hiding so he investigates her. Steve goes looking into Kayla's private things.  In the meantime, Stefan wants more from Kayla than she has already delivered. 

Gabi, Chad and Abigail

Gabi continues to work on Chad.  Abigail catches them together looking  very cozy. Chad dreams he is the baby's father.  Someone thinks about looking into Abigail's medical records for the answers they need. Is it Chad or Stefan or both?  Abigail starts to seriously consider if Gabi is really still her friend or her enemy? Gabi lies to Chad to keep him close by. 

Eve, Jen & Brady

Eve tries to cause a reconciliation between Victor and Brady.  Eve and Jen are back to their feuding ways.
